As part of their continued commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, our client is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Marrickville.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Client Care Manager and leading a team of Disability Support Workers, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support and ensuring operational excellence. The Team Leader will:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including incident reporting, rostering, and service quality standards
- Lead and develop a team of Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred care
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, guardians, and external providers to ensure coordinated support
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals by facilitating community participation and engagement
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and reporting requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and team performance
