This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior HR Specialist from a complex corporate, professional services or government organisation to join the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) People and Culture team. With accountability for all recruitment activities across the organisation, you will be responsible for recruiting the best talent for AEMC as it develops the right market settings to improve Australia's future productivity and living standards by contributing to a decarbonising, affordable and reliable energy system for consumers, through the transition and beyond.
 
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Corporate Services, the Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of all talent solutions. You will take carriage of the entire recruitment life cycle from liaising with senior executives and providing advice on recruitment strategies, through to interviewing, and providing exceptional candidate care. Within this, you will support and coach hiring managers to deliver quality recruitment processes. With a focus on delivering continuous process and procedural improvement, this is an excellent role enabling you to work collaboratively with other members of the People & Culture team to deliver corporate services functions within the AEMC.
 
About You
To be the successful candidate for this appointment, you will be a senior HR Recruitment Specialist with proven recruitment experience across all levels of a complex corporate, professional services or government organisation. Your strong relationship and stakeholder management skills will complement your brand ambassadorial and candidate care capabilities. It will be paramount to provide excellence in quality recruitment practices, ensuring a superior candidate experience is enabled by your superior attention to detail and ability to work to differing timelines. You will be a confident self-starter, who can work both autonomously or collaboratively and are known for your organisational skills and passion for recruitment.  Expertise in graduate recruitment and HR systems knowledge is advantageous.

It facilitates rule changes, carries out reviews and provides the nation’s Energy Ministers with advice on the design of regulatory and energy market arrangements.
