The Opportunity
Reporting to the newly created role of Executive Director Strategy and Business Growth, as the Program Manager you will:
- Play the lead role in overseeing all transformation projects across the breadth of this complex organisation;
- Build and establish the PMO processes and functionality best practice to ensure the organisation will achieve the organisation’s growth milestones;
- Be accountable to the executive leadership team in managing the integration and timely delivery of all projects;
- Focus the organisation on enhancing customer centricity, increasing information sharing and centralising key functions;
- Coach, mentor and support business managers by building project management expertise;
- Management of all project initiative change through timely program and change management communications.
For this appointment, you will be an experienced Program Manager with the following skills:
- An excellent program management background complemented with strategic leadership enabling successful delivery across multiple interim horizons;
- Superior relationship and stakeholder management skills;
- Proven experience standing up a PMO function in a large complex organisation;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate collaboration of cross functional teams to deliver outcome excellence;
- Demonstrable expertise in strategic project planning; program management governance, problem solving and risk management;
- Strong presentation capability in small and large group forums;
- Proven communications skills including strong influencing and negotiating capability;
- A proactive approach to conflict resolution fostering a positive working environment.
