The opportunity

To support its growth agenda, Aruma is seeking an Executive General Manager, Home & Living (EGM), to play a pivotal leadership role in uplifting the culture within the Home & Living team currently comprising of SIL and SDA. This role will drive the strategic agenda, ensuring Aruma continues to deliver consistent quality, maintain safe workplaces, and sustain operations across its service footprint.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team of Regional Managers the EGM Home & Living will;

  • Lead and develop a high-performing, values-driven team to deliver high-quality Home & Living services nationally.
  • Drive the implementation of a national Home & Living Growth Strategy, ensuring a customer-centric and commercially sustainable approach.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all services.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community networks.
About you

As the successful candidate for this role, you will bring;  
  • Proven senior leadership experience in disability, health, or human services, with similar funding constructs.
  • A strong track record in leading large, complex teams through transformation and cultural change.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • A deep commitment to human rights and the empowerment of people with disability.
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and advocate effectively for service excellence.
