This is a critical role ensuring the continued impact of Lifestart by lifting the capability of finance and technology functions whilst leading and supporting the broader team to deliver the required growth for success. We’re looking for an astute commercial leader capable of identifying and optimising revenue generation and resource utilisation while carefully balancing the need to deliver essential services to Lifestart’s children, young people and their families.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for elevating and optimising performance across the finance, technology, risk and facility functions through both strategic and operational leadership. With several exciting and innovative initiatives underway, Lifestart is well-positioned for continued growth and impact to the communities they serve.
Key responsibilities of the CFO include:
- Develop an enhanced strategic plan ensuring sustainability, optimisation and growth.
- Prioritise quality, access and visibility of financial reporting and management.
- Ensure customers and clients needs remain central to business decisions.
- Foster a culture of high engagement, performance and accountability.
For this appointment, we are seeking a proven finance leader with breadth in experience across other corporate services functions. This role requires a unique combination of expertise, leadership, and strategic insight, and an ability and enjoyment to lead both strategy and operations. Key requirements for the CFO role include;
- Proven senior leadership experience managing diverse teams
- Relevant qualifications including CA or CPA
- Highly experienced across both financial management and accounting practices.
- Proven track record in driving system and process improvements.
- Experience within, or exposure to the for-purpose human services sector.
- Strong alignment to Lifestart’s mission and values of empowerment and making a positive difference.
