Phil is a Partner with Orchard’s Executive Search and Board Practice spanning clients in education, research and innovation, and broader social impact. He brings to his work a passion for the impact these sectors have on creating a better shared future for humanity. Phil partners with clients to deliver executive searches for strategic, mission-critical senior appointments. He understands the challenges facing many organisations as they adapt to rapid change and navigate impediments to financial sustainability and growth, whilst also maintaining the fundamental social missions upon which their identities and cultures are based.

 

Phil’s early career as a high school teacher is the basis for his dedication to the for-purpose sector. He brings over a decade of experience in executive search and holds a Bachelor of Education and Creative Industries from Queensland University of Technology and a Master of International Relations from Macquarie University.
